Twentieth Annual FLAFCC-OSCA Education Program
The Florida Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (FLAFCC) and the Office of the State Courts Administrator (OSCA) held their 20th Annual Advanced Education Program from September 11-13, in Orlando. The program's theme was “Recognize the Signs: Plan the Solutions” and offered a wide variety of educational sessions with insights and best practices in family law and conflict resolution.
The program brings together experts and industry leaders from Florida and around the country to address current issues in family law, including neurodiversity, trauma, wellness, co-parenting, the latest case law updates, and much more.
A hallmark of this event is the opportunity for professionals from many different disciplines to learn together and better understand how their contributions relate to those of their colleagues. While participants all have a connection to families in conflict, their various roles include judges, magistrates, attorneys, court staff, psychologists, social workers, therapists, and other family law professionals.
For two decades, the partnership between OSCA and the FLAFCC has provided training to family law professionals, which, in turn, helps to better serve families in conflict every day.
