Congratulations to OSCA’s Newest Certified Public Managers!
This July, six OSCA staff members graduated from the Certified Public Manager program at Florida State University. The new graduates are:
Susannah Davis, Office of Information Technology;
Aaron Gerson, Office of Problem-Solving Courts;
Rhanisa Jerger, General Services;
Myra Smith, Finance and Accounting;
Kathleen Tailer, Office of Family Courts; and
Andrea Wilson, Office of Information Technology.
In a recent message to staff, State Courts Administrator Eric W. Maclure congratulated the graduates on completing the challenging program and demonstrating their commitment to professional development. He wrote, “The knowledge and skills they have acquired will no doubt benefit OSCA, enhancing our ability to serve the judicial branch.”
The Certified Public Manager program is a nationally recognized initiative aimed at training and developing public managers and supervisors, focusing on professionalizing public management and improving organizational efficiency. OSCA has participated in the program for several years as one way to fulfill the goal of maintaining a professional, ethical, and skilled judiciary and workforce, as set out in Issue 5 of the Long-Range Strategic Plan for the Florida Judicial Branch.
